Our stay at the Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa in Mammoth Lakes was truly unforgettable. The unique lodge ambiance made us feel right at home, and Chip and Eric from the staff really elevated our experience with their warm hospitality and local insights. We had a wonderful time enjoying the cozy wine bar and relaxing in the spacious, dog-friendly room. However, we did find the restaurant options limited, as they could be more diverse, and the parking area could get a bit busy during peak times.

I had a wonderful time at the Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa, where the rustic charm and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect stay. The large lobby with unlimited hot beverages was such a nice touch, and relaxing in front of the fireplace was just what I needed after a long day of skiing. However, I do wish the price had been a bit more reasonable, as I felt it was on the higher side. Overall, it's a great spot for families looking for fun activities nearby.

My stay at the Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa had its ups and downs. The lodge's rustic charm was delightful, and the comfort of the beds made for a great night's sleep. However, the customer service experience was frustrating and left a sour taste, especially with the booking mix-up. The amenities helped make my time enjoyable, but the overall service could definitely improve.

The rooms were cozy and clean, providing a comfortable resting space after a long day. However, ours was a bit dark as it was located at the back of the building.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many areas, especially with its charming decor and great amenities. The beds were comfortable which made for restful nights, and the game room provided plenty of entertainment. However, the check-in process was frustrating and there were some cleanliness issues in the room that could use attention. Overall, it's a decent option but not without its flaws.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, featuring nice rustic touches. Unfortunately, it could have benefited from better soundproofing as I could hear my neighbors quite easily.
Service
5.0
The service from the front desk was friendly, but I did experience a long check-in process and there seemed to be some confusion regarding my booking.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants, which was a huge plus. It's not the most scenic area, but it's very accessible.
Dining

Dining options nearby were plentiful, but the hotel itself didn’t have an impressive breakfast selection.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were enjoyable, especially the hot tub and fireplace areas, making it easy to relax after a long day. However, ongoing construction was a bit distracting.

7.4/10

I had a pretty mixed experience at the Sierra Nevada Resort. The atmosphere was charming, and the location was super convenient for outdoor activities. However, my room had a broken thermostat, and the cleanliness could be improved, especially in the hallways. The price felt steep given some of these issues, so it’s hard to say I got the best value for my money.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean but definitely smaller than appeared in the pictures. It had a broken thermostat and exhaust fan in the bathroom, which was a letdown.
Service
7.0
The staff was nice and eager to help, but there were times when attention to detail seemed lacking, particularly with housekeeping management.
Location
9.0
The location is really convenient, with easy access to ski areas and shops nearby, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
Dining
8.0
Did not try the dining options extensively, but it’s worth noting there seemed to be a good variety available without needing to leave the hotel.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities like the sauna and steam room were great, but the hot tub didn’t meet expectations given the cold weather outside.
